Hi Christine - wow! this is stunning. I totally agree with Charlotte, the colours in the beak and branch are beautifully chosen and painted - I really like the little woody bits on the branch too. Your kingfisher is gorgeous, the way you've overlapped the orange feathers over the blue is cleverly painted, also the bird's eye is very engaging. You've created the perfect background, nice and soft, nothing too fussy so it doesn't compete with the main subject. You should be very proud of this one, I hope its hanging on your wall for others to admire. best wishes, Carrie
