I chose a couple of paintings by Franz Marc for my inspiration (Red and Blue Pigs for colours and Deer in a Monastery for shapes).

I think I got a bit carried away, there are so many colours and shapes to chose from.  At first I wasn’t going to paint over the background but now I’m so glad that I did.
