Hello,

My name is João Duarte. I'm a Motion Graphic Designer based in Porto, Portugal.

An enthusiast about all the phases to the creative process when it comes to design and arts.

I want to be involved in projects with a worldwide soul, a creatively minded and strategy-led team with a friendly relationship culture. "Creativity is not a talent. It is a way of operating." - said once John Cleese, so I think that creativity it's just a mindset or way to operate as rational human beings, capable to visualize, conceptualize and materialize ideas. In that way, my focus is on building new narratives, finding solutions for good aesthetics and improving the creative workflow.

I graduated from ESAD - Caldas da Rainha in 2021, with a Sound & Image degree. During that period, I also collaborated with Canal180, producing editorial content for the channel. After college I join Happeo, a digital workplace platform, based in Amsterdam and then to Getboarded in Aveiro.
Two tech companies where I worked as a creative and content creator. Currently working as Motion Designer for Lightbox - Films and Advertising.

I’m a person who loves to communicate and embrace new challenges, learn and collaborate within creative projects (with critic vision to improve and optimize the goals), plus I put a lot of passion in everything that I do!
