I've been obsessed with greenhouse illustrations on pinterest, but unsure about what I wanted to create around this theme. Greenhouses were appearing in my sketchbook for months, but every time I tried to create a final piece, it fell flat. This class helped me borrow from some of my favorite images and also to step back and think a bit more conceptually about my greenhouse theme. I searched pinterest for interesting settings and backgrounds and in the end I painted a cityscape around the greenhouse that added another layer of meaning.
