Illustory - Women

Illustration Collection

 

> It will be a collection focused on drawing original characters, focusing on women, in digital illustration format. Deadline: January 5th. The project will be carried out on Fridays starting on November 24th.

 

>Material: Computer, graphics tablet and drawing software for the final product and paper and mechanical pencil for drafting.

 

>Resources: My knowledge of illustration, research into stories to enrich the work, research into styles and colors. mood board.

 

>Inspiration: women and stories of women’s experiences.

 

>In practice:

 

Day 1: put together a list of emotions I want to convey and how I will convey this emotion. Also, decide how many illustrations there will be.

 

Day 2: research drawing styles and colors that represent women and research women's stories. You may need a moodboard for each woman drawn, but maintaining the identity of the overall work.

 

Day 3: sketch women based on the moodboard.

 

Day 4: Transfer the approved drafts to the computer and begin the process of creating digital art. Finish missing drafts.

 

Day 5: Draw.

 

Day 6: Finish illustrations.

 

Day 7: Exhibit the illustrations on social networks and implement them in the portfolio.
