These fish from a previous pattern were a challenge to combine with the background. Since I had made the original Fish pattern with an odd number of pixels so the size couldn't be divided evenly, grrr... live and learn to plan. 

After viewing your class I was able to add a couple of pixels until it could be divide by 4 without any decimal points and the pattern was without cut offs. The pattern View feature in Photoshop helped a lot with resizing the geometric pattern and for making sure both fish and background patterns worked together.
