I was left unsupervised . . .

16FEB2026 Here are my first two pieces. The Tombow Fudenosuke is not my usual drawing pen, but I want to try different supplies. The plastic brush nib was a bit tricky on the rough surface of the cold pressed watercolor paper. The pen is nicely waterproof, but the ink tends to transfer to the neighborning page. I am looking forward to cleaning up the image with the digitizing part of this class.

I could not resist adding a cartoon to the second drawing.

Next my pieces and digitizing yet to come . . .

18FEB2026 I digitally cleaned up my first piece with Procreate and removed all the stray pigment. Much better!

2026.04.02 Final projects: I wanted a new color pallet for my final project. As part of my efforts to get to know my supplies better, my goal was to fill 20 sheets with a specific watercolor pallet before changing to another one. I just finished my 20 sheets and was rewarded with Prima Marketings' Terrain watercolor pallet!
