What should have been a 10 minute sketch took me nearly 2 hours. :( Most of the time was spent either trying to figure out where exactly the mark should go before putting it down, or erasing and redrawing said mark. Do you have any suggestions to help me get out of my own head and just draw? I can paint without this problem and would really like to be able to sketch efficiently. 

EDIT: I ended up having to take a break for two weeks while I worked on some pixel art trades. This week, however, I got back into it. I'd like to say I'm making marked progress. The first one below took me an hour and a half, whilst the second one took an hour. If I can shave off nearly a half hour each time, that would be awesome!
