Well, I think your guava turned out really cool! Especially I LOVE that pink hear of the guava slice. Very gentle. Big step up after the figs hearts haha And even though the glazing didn't happen the way you intended your guava still has volume. And that's the important part! PS I think you need to rotate the photo on your phone\computer first and then upload it here. there is no opportunity to edit\rotate images

Thank you for all your replies!  And yes, you are right about the difference from the figs to the guava.  The glazing!  Why can I not see what I've done wrong until someone points it out?  It's like I'm blind to my own mistakes.  I know there is something wrong or wonky but I just can never grasp it.  Thank you SO much for your help.

Don't worry about that ;) The ability to spot your mistakes (or things that are off) will come with experience. 
BUT I can give away a simple trick to help you out with this. When you are halfway with your work, take a picture of it (just on the phone is fine). The photo will show all the weird moments if there are any very very clearly. So you will be able to correct them before it is too late ;)

I had a lot of trouble with glazing on this one.  I think I wasn't waiting for the paper to dry completely.   Another subject I really enjoyed.  Waiting eagerly for the next in the series!!
By the way, how do I rotate this image?
