I’d appreciate some constructive criticism for this project. I don’t feel it is successful in recreating the texture of the fabric but I don’t know why. I found this project to be pretty frustrating. I can’t see the subtle value shifts.  I’m used to doing an underpainting, so this felt pretty strange.  

The rust satin went a little better, but still isn’t quite where I want it.
