I love any class Zaneena teaches. Once again she has a beautiful project we get to paint. I struggled with the colors a little bit,  because I could not get my black gouache opened. I used watercolor neutral tint mixed  into my turquiose gouache color. It seemed to work. I haven't painted with gouache much, so I'm not sure I'm doing it right. I'm not sure what the difference is between gouache and opaque watercolors that contain the white pigment. I did completely enjoy the class, but I love painting anything having to do with the ocean, even though water is a hard painting subject to grasp :)
