Mixing and flat washes :

Sometimes the paint cracked (under the yellow column), and also I found that sometimes little bubbles are formed while I mix and they dry like this on the paper too. If you have any tips for me, I'd really appreciate it:)

 

Gradients and layering exercises:

I struggled with the gradients, it turned out a little streaky, but It's all about practicing;)

My final project:

I tried to do each flower with the different techniques Sandra did in her lovely final illustration:

The yellow is the flat wash+outline.

The red-yellow was meant to be blended gradient but it was quite difficult to do a gradient with each petal because it was too small for me, but I think it turned out quite nice nonetheless:)

The pink one is the layering technique- yellow on top of the pink and dry brushing on top with the red:)
