Hi Miranda, Your Goldfinch is stunning! I'm glad you had a fun time painting him. In the belly, the value is correct, but it would have helped to have controlled the flow of the golden-brown colour better and kept it restricted more to the chest area only. Another suggestion is in relation to brushwork. The splashes work better when you simply let the paint flow into them. It appears you have tried to adjust some edges there with your brush making it appear a tad overworked.

Thanks for your feedback! Indeed I tried to adjust the hard edges and it didn't work well.  It is mostly the background that I am not happy about. But I am still learning and trying and having fun!  :)

Great class! This is my second attemp, better then the first one :)
But I want to improve so feedback is more then welcome!
