I'm one who usually likes to play with lots of bright colors, but I fell in love with how these glitter backgrounds looked with black. All I did was put a layer of black over the glitter, change the template lines to white so I could see them, then erase the black. I was so in love with it I did all four 8-inch tiles in one day.

 

I didn't have as much luck creating the nicely repeating version on the diagonal. I could never get everything lined up perfectly, so I took the tiles into Photoshop to create the diagonal version, which repeats perfectly for things like fabric and wallpaper. Really loved this class!
