I’m still getting to both patternmaking and Procreate , so this seemed like the perfect class to get my feet wet! 

Assignment 1

i started with a page of colored pencil paper cutouts. I erased the background in Procreate, but would be interested to know if there is a better way to get rid of the background there.

The final pattern doesn’t match up perfectly yet, but I’m totally excited about this method and will do a lot more experimenting.
