From Comfort to Safety

From Comfort to Safety - student project

My bed for me has been a comfort zone. I have even become dependent on it for alleged relaxation and rest. However, as the adage goes too much of something is poisonous and that has become the effect of dependence on my bed. Whenever I am having a low day I rarely if not, fail to come out of bed and stay there the whole day. That creates an atmosphere of unnecessary comfort that may lead to inefficiency. After taking this class and understanding the importance of both comfort and safety zones I realized it is very possible to change my comfort zone into a safety zone because my bed is the very same place I can have the best form of rest and rejuvenation. This portrait now stands at my bed headstand as an ever present reminder that my bed can be a safety zone for me if I build resilience and make it one. Thank you.
