I am really happy that I found your course. There was some lovely foxglove growing that I wanted to paint. I had been pondering the best way to go about painting the spotted pattern. I think your approach was a good way to go about it. I had considered using masking fluid, but didn't want the hard edge. I have different colours in my palette so I just did the best with what I had. I got the background lighter then I had intended. I have been contemplating going back over it, but am afraid I might overwork it. The tonal value on the one center flower is also off. Considering making adjustments there as well.  I had trouble getting the white gouache to be the right consistency. I kept either getting it to thick or thin, more practice needed. Let me know if you have any advice. Thanks. :)
