Here's an example of my journal, which I've just recently gotten back into! It was useful to hear tips on reloading the ink of my Lamy Safari with EF nib - I bought a converter and Diamine Grape Ink, which I'm really enjoying so far. My notebook is an A5 MD Midori with dot grid. I think it does a really good job with the ink compared to previous journals, though I still have a few smears. But I think that's just me getting used to using a fountain pen! And now that I've seen Abbey's various pens and inks...and now I want all of them?! 

I also like to cut out images from magazines and paste them into various pages of my journal- it's fun to come across one and decide how I want to write around it.
