First of all, I must say I will run to store to buy some cookies after uploading this project, I'm starving!

 

I decided to make a fortune cookie and chose this CC free to use reference image

 

Then I made my rough sketch and oh look! some of the cookies from the class!! (my stomach growls)

 

I think the cookie is somewhat yellowish, so, for the first wash I used Yellow medium, then I made multiple washes with Raw Sienna and finally Sepia. I paid attention to the highlight areas and the shadow areas and the light borders mentioned at the beginning of the class. It is easier now that I know what to pay attention to.

 

And here it is! my fortune cookie!!! wohooo! now, see ya later, I need come cooookiiiieeees.
