I started by sketching out by sketching some ideas in my travel sketchbook,

since I watched the class on my lunch break at work.

I'm not exactly a fan of drawing butterflies or even birds, so I opted to go for forest animal.

I concentrate on the rabbit and fox first, before sketching the flora componants of the designs.

After making the design permanent with fineliner, I added watercolour.

I am pleased with both the designs but if I redraw them again, which is likely as our daughter loves bunnies, I think I'll make the rabbits tail and chest white rather than red, as I did with the fox's face and tail.
