Sadly my “feather”brush was too wet so I lost all the beautiful dry spots early on. And his wing is a tad wonky.

But quite happy with the rest of the bird. I changed the beak and went a bit closer to the reference photo as I didn’t like the way the reddish beak was a bit flat in my painting. I went too strong in my first wash and was unable to add the straight red for variation. Adding the indigo helped it.
