Last month, I had the opportunity to do live calligraphy at Kendra Scott, and they asked me to write monograms in calligraphy on their bags. Being the me that I am, I wanted to spice it up a bit and incorporate flourishes. And that was the inspiration for creating this class!

In this class, we'll go over each uppercase letter of the alphabet, and look at three different ways to flourish it.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend you take my first two classes that go over Modern Calligraphy Basics and Flourishing Basics.

Another big chunk of the class is when I explain to you my thought process behind how I designed some of my monograms. 

For example... 

Your project is to design your own monogram. It can be any combination of one to three letters. You can use your own name, a fictional name.. doesn't matter. Have fun with it, and keep creating new ones so you can build a portfolio of them.
