Floral-ish Fields?

I have been watching all Denise's classes, but haven't had one ounce of creativity since recovering from bronchitis! Had to go back into work mode (left-brain job), so art has to wait. Decided I'd try to dive in again with these floral fields, and got swept away with all sorts of randomness.

I also received my first Kuretake paints (the Art Nouveau set) as a Mother's Day gift, so these are my first pieces using them. I love them!!

The first green one was a single color and became my favorite because of its simplicity. The second one made me think of dunes at the seashore at sunrise, although why they're blue is beyond me. I corrected that on the larger piece, but then I had another green mound of grass. Ha.

The bottom row was just experimenting with Kuretake's colors because I hadn't made a swatch sheet before I attempted these. (Swatch sheet was my very next project - laminated today.)

No masterpieces but I learned lots in my attempts.

The larger green piece - I thought I was done with it, then got the idea to add the balloon. Not sure I like it as well. I'm happy with the beach scene - I need to go there. LOL!

Thanks for another fun class! Hoping to catch up with some of the others as soon as I finish this job.
