hello! My name is Joan and I am a content editor with experiences with narrative editing. I  wanted to provide my answers to the questions here!

 

I have been reaching out to existing people in my network in hopes to do spec projects (commercials). Here are the three goals I have for myself within 6 months: 

1. land my first freelance client (paid)

2. Make 3-5 passion projects 

3. collab with another creative on a spec project 

 

Success as a video editor means going through my process and trusting it. Enjoying my work (which I already do). Being recognized for the creativity. I inspire people around me.

Doing passion projects while having a 9-5 job is difficult but not impossible- usually I dedicate my mornings before work to work on anything.
