As a realistic graphite artist, this was right up my alley, with a new challenge: colour. I love how it turned out in the end!
2. Self-Portrait
This project offered a new challenge: a cartoon-style self-portrait! I did this assignment twice. The first time, I followed the instruction, and the second time, I tried to draw using my own features. I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out.
I thoroughly enjoyed both part 1 and 2 of the Kickstart course because I needed a break from what I'm comfortable doing. I'm so glad that I did both courses, and I'm actually interested in doing the postcard course because I would like to design postcards of my own!
