UPDATE: 9/30

Because it just didn't feel fancy enough, I scanned the painting, printed it out, and added some gold embossing. I think it might be sufficiently fancy now.

Note: I would like to state for the record that I started working on this project long before I ever heard that blasted song.

"Fancy" is my most overused word, so I thought I might as well go all out. Below are the many stages of this painting. I'm not entirely satisfied with the latest version... mostly I'm unsure about how I want to do the lights inside the letters, and I've painted over them about a dozen times! (I'm also not crazy about how the colors came through in the scan - that one is the only scanned version.) Any advice??
