I simply loved the concept for this project! Since I saw Irina's post on Instagram, I was excited to take this class and practice those beautiful transparency techniques. 

Thank you Irina for sharing the story behind your artwork! I've found so inspiring that you and your husband could develop a project together. A few days ago I got ill with cold and allergies... and got a bit of creative block after that. So this magical fairy is my attempt to come back to my watercolors :)

I had a lot of fun painting this illustration and adding the details (it's my favorite part too). I tried to capture the gold in the pictures, I hope you can see it - I've used a brazilian brand of homemade watercolors for that (pestilento art).
