Thank you, Maurizio for your excellent course! It's been frustrating trying to find a good guide to digital painting, so I'm really grateful for this class! 

The painting I used is Amor and Psyche by Louis Jean François Lagrenée.

I love this painter's use of vibrant coloring and vivid contrasts in lighting.  It's captivating. That's why I chose to use it as reference. 

The downside of picking this was it's a rather challenging piece because of all it's folds and creases. It doesn't have the simple smoothness of some other paintings, and it provided some difficulty to say the least.
