Enso: crie uma aquarela meditativa japonesa

I like the intense blue in this one! I hadn't thought to try this in Procreate, I will try in watercolor then Procreate. Is this Maria in Chinese? Curious, as I've always wanted to learn a language with different characters/syllabary/etc.

I just went down a deep rabbit hole of looking at all the ways people write Maria in Japanese. Very interesting! -Maria

I found one way to write Maria in Japanese and thought, that was it! I have a Japanese friend and I ask her why there are different ways!

Lovely work Maria again!!! The two colors on the left, the blue/green reminds me of a watercolor paint im absolutely in love called "glacier green" from Schmincke and the one in the middle reminds me of potters pink that I love. I see that you are very good at using different textured brushes on procreate that its not easy to get the "right" one. I should try these myself! So which do you like? Maria in chinese characters (Kanji) like in this one? or the Katakana? or Hiragana? Im torn!

Thank you Miwa! I like to experiment with brushes, especially ink brushes. I like the both forms of Japanese characters. For me it is admiration for the quick way you Japanese people write and your making it so beautiful!By the way, I wonder what troubles a dyslectic child in Japan has to overcome?

I think they are far behind on tackling such problems, knowing my friend struggled alot with her son who was on the high spectrum of autism. its scary to think about it....

Here there is help for parents with troubles. My granddaughter progressed with dyslectic problems within a few months! Impressive. My brother had problems his whole life!

I made my first Enzo’s with ink years ago in “‘t Japanse winkeltje” in Amsterdam, a beautiful shop! There are creative  workshops in all kind of Japanese arts. This project is with Procreate brushes!!
