Editing...Yay!
Got my camera back in August of last year and played around with a bit but finally getting into playing around with Lightroom and learning how to edit. So here's basically my first rodeo at a couple of photos I shot.
Original photo of my baby, Roma, who I am totally obsessed with. :-p
For the edited photo, I added some warmth to the overall photo to go for the look and feel of sunshine shining in on her. I also removed a couple of dark spots/imperfections on the sheets that I felt were kinda distracting in the middle of the photo as well as one of her black whiskers on her nose that extended into the sheet area.
Next I took this photo from a trip this past August to the Seattle/Oregon area.
As you can see it was a very overcast and dreary day. I tried to lighten this one up. I like the little bark/plant on the bottom left being vibrant and green to add something additional to the photo and I also think the fog looks cool. I used a radial filter to lighten that area up to avoid making the whiteness of the fog too bright. Not 100% sure on this one as I kinda feel the radial filter might be a bit too obvious but not sure if it's just me.
Finally I took this one from Cannon Beach.
Nothing too fancy here. I used the de-hazing since it was smokey and foggy out to bring out the ocean and sky colors. I really like the contrast of the red on lifeguard buggy to everything else. Might play around with this a bit more to see if I can remove the people immediately in the background so they aren't quite as distracting.
