This is beautiful, Christine! Using "Footprints in the Sand" for this piece is a lovely touch, and your handwriting is exquisite. You've done a wonderful job with the wash and glaze! I'm glad you chose this class. After taking Umberto's ballerina class, I was so intrigued that I explored more of his offerings, including this one. His infectious creative spirit and deep love for art truly resonate with me, so I was eager to see what else he has created.

Thank you Diana... footprints is one of my favorites... I think he has only three classes unfortunately and I'm after doing the :))))

Very cool effect with the text, and your handwriting is lovely it really adds to the piece. I love the subtlety of the shading too.  Well done.

Hello Christine, thank you so much to enjoy my class, and share your project and your painting. Isa a very good result, and i really like the smooth shading, glazing and transition. The only suggestion I like to give you, is to keep an eye on the ink lines on the portrait, because are a little bit too bold and "too strong" compare to the delicate shading, and also the writing is very delicate, so my personal suggestion is to try to keep the ink lines on the subject, exactly like the lyrics :)
