Hey everyone!!

So here's what I made for the class ;) 

Here are a few of the thumbnail options I came up with:

But in the end I decided to go with the option with her with long hair.  Although, the middle composition above was a close second for me. I may edit my painting again and paint another version of her like that.

Once I had my composition, I began painting her with shapes of value:
