The Next Student Design Challenge is here and this time it is to design your own book cover! It can be for a children's book cover, a non-fiction book, a romance novel or any other topic that interests you the most. You could even take an existing book and recreate that cover to make it take on different feeling you think would help better communicate the story, narrative and vibe of the book. 

I will be hosting a LIVE video on my Facebook Page on October 29th @2pm (EST) and spend time reviewing EACH and EVERY student submission, even if it takes me two hours (and some student design challenge review videos have lasted that long!).

Even if you do not submit a project you can still get a lot out of watching the live video. And if you cannot make it live, no worries it will be posted on my facebook page, student facebook group, youtube and elsewhere to watch later. 

To submit a project simply post it in the project/Q&A section of your course or post it in the student facebook group, or e-mail and message me your submission. As long as I get them before I go live on October 29th, I can include them in the list to be reviewed in the video. 

My Master Graphic Design Through Projects: Beginner to Advanced right here on Skillshare has a fairly large book design section where we create three totally different types of book covers. If you are looking for some instruction on how to get started with this project, it can be very helpful as we walk through ALL steps in the process! 

Remember, ALL skill levels will be represented here, so do not feel intimidated if this is your very first project or your 99th. Enjoy, have fun and I look forward to seeing the many book covers you guys create!
