Over my blue blanket, threads weave together, some white, others golden. They carry their brightness and warmth across the entire piece that covers and embraces me, pausing at points that surround like lights in a half-moon shape. Unfazed at one side, a dark tower interrupts the scene; it does not steal the light completely, but it does mark a separation.”

Between the toes of my bare feet, a gentle caress tells me that I am here. I press my sole deeper into the grass, seeking more of that sweet touch. More, more, I propel myself forward, unable to resist the desire to leave everything behind.

I stretched the arch of my foot to feel it all completely, while I contemplated what lay before me: a vast horizon of intimate complicity between the grass and the forest.

A few meters ahead, a sudden pull interrupted my step. I lowered my gaze, as a strange weight unbalanced my head and, suddenly, pain overtook me. I tried to go on, but I could no longer move: I was bound to the earth, that warm and humid earth that only moments before had embraced me.

I brought my trembling fingers to my forehead, as a tingling appeared. I traced its path as it spread quickly through my head to the crown, and then I perceived it: long antlers, like those of a deer, sprouting from my head.
