Nara paper is fantastic - I wiped away so many attempts at wispy with the tools that I had, and just could not make anything wispy.  I guess - more practice.  So - rather than give up (and I nearly did!) I tried to make something of one of my attempts so that at least, it was sort of pleasing on the eye.  I had some alcohol markers in my stash and I used them as part of my doodling stage along with posca pen markers.
You are absolutely right (as always) - the alcohol inks are the most uncontrollable supplies I have ever worked with.  And - I will continue to work on making ‘wispy’ pieces.
