Day 1 - 12
I haven't done a value drawing in YEARS and it shows. I also didn't know which media I wanted to use...
Day 2, the blobs were fun!
Day 3, I just finished season 7 of The Clone Wars, so this quote stuck with me
Day 5, funny story, I have prosopagnosia, or face blindness, so staring at myself in a mirror is weird because I know it's me, but I don't recognize it as my own face (picking my own self out of group pictures is kinda hard, but I mostly know my features, and my hair). Broke out my Derwent pencils from high school for this one! I'm also pleased to note I can still draw a face even though it's been at least a decade.
Day 5
Trying to draw while watching a show is about as hard as I figured it would be, a fun challenge! I was watching Rebels when I drew this in August.
Day 6
I'm well known for my fancy glasses chains. The ones I have on now have bats on them. They're pretty cute.
Day 7
We have holly outside on the front walk, they were fun to take a colored pencil to!
Day 8
Went through a dry spell between depression and ADHD, but back at drawing! Our house, as I imagine it will look when spring is in full swing.
Day 9
I am currently reading Tamora Pierce's Wild Magic and loving it. This is what I imagine for an alternative cover with the main character, Daine, and her besty, Cloud.
Day 10
Sequential study. I rolled through kitten pictures of my cat, Blue. Not very sequential, but she is a cutie.
Day 11
Poetry. I have always been fond of Emily Dickinson.
Day 12 Timed Studies, again using a photo of Blue.
