I took this class as part of my long project in ‘learning the language of line’, and I appreciate an approach to learning that takes me to art school, even though I’ve never been.

A few observations;
- horizontal and vertical lines both felt meditative when long, frenetic when short
- diagonals felt angular and man-made, especially when made with a ruler
- curving lines, especially when made with a calligraphy brush, were curling snakes or lithe cats

I’ll be back to push my skills further in other artistic areas as I prepare for more advanced subjects.
