Wow! This was a super experience! This was super fun to do! Working on my iPad in Affinity Designer instead of a pc/ mac in Adobe Illustrator, I managed to pull it off!  As a beginner with AD I’m very proud of the result! First, I’ve practiced a lot with the tools. Then, I’ve created simple assets which I used in my illustration. Sorry Mel, next time I will create my own assets or icons as you call them. I really hung on to your example...

Finally, I struggled with the mock ups.... My repeat pattern was too large and I had to scale it down but I didn’t know how to to this in Affinity Designer. I don’t think it’s possible to scale it down as you can in Illustrator. But, I came up with a sollution and I’m really proud of it!

Maybe it’s not as perfect as it should be but.... I had fun! That’s the most important thing isn’t it?
