Originally, I was aiming for posting daily, but I am cutting that back to every other day except for two specific days (regardless of whether they are in pattern or not) - I will always post on the last day of the month and the first day of the month.

The first day of the month will be a "feature" of a product that I am offering - prints, stickers, etc. that fits with the coming month's planned artwork.

The last day of the month will be a "feature" of all the art that fits with the challenge/project I have focused on that month.

Other than that, the days will alternate, and will give mostly art posts, but occasional reels will be included.

My goals on Instagram are to grow my community and share my art.  If I found commission work/art directors/etc. that's a huge bonus, but mostly, it's about building a community and making a connection with people of like-minded interests.

I have mapped out the posts for 3 months, and I still have art that I haven't posted into the calendar, so I think this will be a long-term sustainable plan based on every other day basis and will allow me to see if there is a "best" day for my content/community based on who are interested in what they see.

I am currently in the middle of a move, so I am not starting my calendar until later next month to allow me time to deal with the move and get my studio set up again and all the other mess that comes with relocation, but I have shared a snapshot of what my calendar looks like for when I aim to pick up with the posting in earnest again.
