I am dignified.

I will not cower for weaknesses!

My body is ripe with lifeblood,

And joy in my soul - 

I will not cower! 

Do not compare me to her! 

My voice is a bird in a cage - 

I have this key around my neck! 

My joy is terrifying, and also gratifying unlike another.

My mind is my best friend. She says, 

"You're a failure, and you're hopeless."

I swing my leg over your lap - 

to feel my power over someone. 

I need to be better than the one you love more.

But do not compare me to her! 

My joy will terrify everyone around me, 

My joy will be the only thing that sets me free.

I will not cower!
