Commonplacing and Sticky Notes

I came upon the commonplace process before from Ruby Granger who also has a course on here, but didn't realize I had kinda of done that before I knew what the name was.
So I write when I get the chance and have been working on a story. The ideas and flow of it have gotten to a point I needed something to put ideas down so I ended up getting a small enough journal I could pack everywhere with me. So through a series of learning the beauty of writing and the ideas for my story and little images I draw as they come to mind, the journal has become my version of the journal for the holy grail. (Indiana Jones reference there).
Sometimes I won't have my journal or be so in the idea that the fear of losing it takes hold and sticky notes become my solace and savior. I'll use those to jote the idea down, slap it in the journal without though really. Other days I want to write but not on my keyboard but more so with my hand, so there are also stray pieces of paper I could find folded and shoved into my journal as well.
But it helps and I'm able to try and articulate the ideas whether its my more clean writing of my story or in other aspects of my writing for work or for other fun snippets.
I definitely want to clean this up and Obsidian looks to be a good start for my other research hobbies and learning hobbies that it'll be easy to take my sticky notes and just bracket out in order to link them to other forms of a mind map. It also will give me a way to have these thing listed in one place all interconnected for my brain's safety which is also nice in the case I don't have my journal to refer to.
