Color Contrast & The New Yorker Homepage

Color Contrast & The New Yorker Homepage - student project

For my project, I used the Color Contrast Analyzer plugin for Google Chrome to test the color contrast of elements on the New Yorker homepage.

I analyzed this section of The New Yorker homepage with the Color Contrast Analyzer.

And the Analyzer plugin presented me with this image.

As you can see, the homepage holds up pretty well. The most important text is clearly discernible, including category links, headlines, and The New Yorker logo at the top of the page. The search bar icon is also easy to make out.
