It's been really fun exploring the various ways to develop textures and apply it to digital arts.

The build in texture effects on Ai are incredible enough, but then to have the options of photos, hand-drawn arts, whether it's by mixed media or drawn on tablets... It's crazy to think there's no limit to creativity here!

I've experimented using stock photos that we can find online. Went to the park and took some photos of tree barks and stone surfaces. Also, I had fun making a mess with herbs and everything else I have in the kitchen to turn them into bitmap files. Teehee!

But I find the easiest and most satisfying way for me is by creating the textures on the tablet. Sit in my quiet corner and indulge in just creating things! 

And, I have to mention: This class with Sahar is so easy to follow! Clear instructions with actionable steps and directions. :)
