Choco-Zest Mai Tai

•5 cl White Rum (e.g. Bacardi)

•2 cl Fresh Lime Juice

•1.5 cl Orgeat Syrup (Almond syrup)

•1 cl Triple Sec or Orange Curaçao

•2 dashes Angostura Bitters (optional, for depth)

•Crushed Ice

•Orange Zest (for garnish)

•Dark Chocolate Shavings (for garnish)

 

 

Instructions:

1.Shake it up:

In a shaker, combine rum, lime juice, orgeat syrup, triple sec, and bitters. Shake well with ice.

2.Build the drink:

Fill a short glass with crushed ice and strain the mix over it.

3.Garnish with flair:

Top with fresh orange zest and a generous sprinkle of dark chocolate shavings.
