Candle Product Photo

Check out this creative product photo that I took with my iPhone 12
For the background, I used some brown paper from the craft store. I chose this dark colour to complement the colour of the candle and to make the beige leaf stand out more.
I used 2 concrete trays from Betonvton as my props to add a different colour and texture to this shot. The trays are positioned on a rustic stool with a wooden texture and chipped paint. Without the trays, it looked very boring and there was a colour mismatch.
Also, I introduced a piece of linen fabric (which is just a pillowcase) to create an atmosphere of softness and coziness.
Using props that make sense for a product is one of the easiest ways to style product photos. I used burnt match sticks to add a subtle element on the right side of the photo.
I balanced the matches with the fire on the lift. To achieve this effect I simply lit up a match stick and held it in front of the iPhone camera.
I shot this scene under a roof but I created this bright spotlight by using a mirror and directing the sun from the outside to my scene.
Let me know, what you think of this photo!!
