As a personal model of healing I decided to map out my breast cancer journey. Through the activities of identifying feelings along with selecting the landmark that was most appropriate helped name the struggles and unknowns to a level healing that I hadn't experienced. I added in a "scale" to my map for purposes of date tracking. I was 36 when I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, stage 3 in 2021. I did 2 years of treatments and surgeries and then marked the end of those years in the scale. 

Thank you so much for this class as it not only helped me but it is something I will be presenting to therapy clients as an option for their own healing.
