Camden Lock Bridge

I took this photo at the Camden Lock Market on a recent trip to London. I took this photo which I was not very happy with because it was so overcast that day - or I guess, normal, for London :)

Step One: I followed the suggestions in the video, first cropping it, then working on the exposure and contrast, as well as adjusting the saturation way down on yellow and orange, because the trees felt like they were bright orange at one point.

Step Two: After that, I used the brush to apply some more blue tint to the sky, and edit the contrast, shadows, and exposure of some specific areas. The sky didn't look natural though, the blue wasn't right.

Step Three: I removed the brush changes from the sky, and switched to adjusting just the exposure and contrast in the sky. I brought that brushing into the tree as well. I thought this looked more realistic. Camden Lock Bridge - image 4 - student project

Finally, I removed a little of the saturation from the top left corner, adjusted the contrast on a few other areas, and I was happy with it. Here is my final photo!

Update: After straightening to level out the waterline - I lost a bit of the tree which I'm not happy about, might have to play with some different cropping now. Wish I'd stood a few feet back :D
