Day 4

This was probably the hardest day so far.  Everything I tried looked like what I always draw.  It was a lot of thought and effort to draw things that looked different from my usual.  I think some worked and some didn’t.  I think I’ll end up repeating day 4 again because I’m not really happy enough with any of the options to proceed to color.  AND I haven’t even touched the dogs yet.

Day 2!

Drawing realistically is so hard lol.  I tried to power through with both the cats and dogs…  A fun exercise.  I definitely noticed things about both cats and dogs that I never noticed before.  Day 3 stylization should be interesting.

I draw mainly cats - that’s my comfort zone.  So getting out of that and drawing dogs.  lol.  

 

Here’s day 1 - sketches without reference.  honestly, this came out better than I thought it would. 

 

I’m adding a brief page of cats because why not.  These came out much worse than I anticipated and I couldn’t think up very many poses tho.  :(
