Busy Bee

I used Baohong Masters' Choice 300gsm 100% cotton cold-pressed paper in size 34x26cm and Daniel Smith's tube watercolors. (The main petal color was a mix of Opera Pink, Carbazole Violet and Amethyst Genuine, which gives it a tiny bit of glitter here and there in certain lighting. Shame it doesn't show in pictures. But trust me, it's pretty!)
Holy moly, I don't even know what to say... This was a job and a half! Never have I painted a single painting for as long as I did this. It's taken me a full week, I'm not even sure how many hours in total, but MANY. I can't believe I finally finished! I gotta admit, I kinda gave up on the stamen thingies, so don't look at them too closely. I might fix them a little at some point, after taking a looong break from this one... I really just need some quick and easy projects for now, lol. Otherwise I'm very proud of myself! I think the bee came out great, I was really worried about it in the beginning.
All in all, this was so tedious but all the more rewarding in the end.
Thank you, Chris, you crazy genius! I hope I made you proud as well. :)
