<p>Hi Avraham, great job with the details! With the water, I like to paint a lighter layer of blue first for the entire surface, then while the paper is still wet, pick up darker blue and drop it in. This creates softer and darker gradations/waves. Once this has all dried, then I'll add in sharper reflections of the boats and sharper waves over the top. Having both soft and sharp reflections are important to make the water appear more realistic. -Darren</p>

<p>This was a very challenging piece for me. Any tips for for creating reflections in the water?</p>
